Friendship is Magic Remixed

DJ PON-3 Presents My Little Pony Friendship is Magic Remixed is a remix album featuring original EDM remixes of select songs from the animated television series released by Lakeshore Records in conjunction with Hasbro Studios. As the title suggests, the album is inspired by the character DJ Pon-3. The album was released digitally on June 2, 2015. A physical compact disc version was released on June 23, 2015, and a vinyl record set was released on November 27, 2015.

Production and development
Upon its announcement in July 2014, the album was expected to release in the fall of that same year.[1] In response to a May 2, 2015 question regarding the album's release on their Facebook page, Lakeshore Records replied "DJ PON-3 is still coming!"[2] On Talent Monthly, a May 19, 2015 press release for the album announced a release date for June 23, 2015.[3]

The album cover appears to draw some inspiration from a scene from the song What My Cutie Mark Is Telling Me featuring Rare Find, DJ Pon-3, Daisy, Shoeshine, and Berryshine in the season three finale Magical Mystery Cure.

Of the albums for the fourth generation of My Little Pony, this is the first English-language one to be released both physically and digitally.
