Not to be confused with: Helheim, Industrial/Black Metal band from Sarpsborg, Viken.
H'grimnir is the contraction of Hrimgrimnir and V'gandr is the one of Vanargandr (full names are used on "Av norrøn ætt" and older releases).
Lindheim and Thorbjørn joined Helheim in 1999 for the "Terrorveldet" EP.
According to the Poetic Edda, the Prose Edda and late Heathen Skaldic poetry, Hel is both the abode of the dead and a female goddess. She guards that realm and is the daughter of Loki. In some Scandinavian languages, that realm is sometimes named as Helheim.
Other releases:
Split preview tape (two tracks from the "Jormundgand" album) with Nattvindens Gråt (two tracks from the "A Bard's Tale" album).

- "Helgate Is Open" on Bands Battle 2006 - Stavenhagen 15.-17. Juni(Underground Kunst & Kultur e.V., 2006, 2CD)
- "Heksesabbat - Witches Sabbath" (7:50, Emperor cover) on "In Honour of Icon E - A Tribute to Emperor" released in June 2012 by Metal Swamp and Tryzna Production
Unreleased:
"Helsviti" EP 2001 (was originally planned on Massacre Records in 2001, but this never happened. It was included in the limited edition digipak of "The Journeys and the Experiences of Death" as a bonus CD).
