We started writing part of the music right after our OMNI TOUR where we went to 25 cities in 28 days but the most of the work was done in the beginning of 2018 till the end of May where we finished our preproductions. It took a few months to finish the full production though, because this time we decided to try something new and do everything by our own: the writing, the arranging, the mixing and the mastering. So we had to learn a lot of things in a very little time.

We decided to do this because we were looking for a specific kind of sound the we didn't think there was anybody our there that could've exploited the songs potential to the fullest.

Our previous EP "Humalina" had a really angry, heavy and dark sound. Everything was fully electronic and we had just a few real instruments in it. This time with "Cryptomaniac" we wanted to change a little our approach and make something that would give a more real feeling to it , using a lot more real instruments: from drums , guitar and bass and move towards a more heavy rock and indie sound, but still having our electronic power and punch that is the core of The Glamour Manifesto.

We feel this is our best record so far and it explains very well our state of mind: a little bit less dark and less angry than before.

28天内，The Glamour Manifesto的OMNI巡演走遍了中国的25个城市。巡演结束后，我们开始创作《Cryptomaniac》这张专辑的音乐，但大部分工作是在2018年初完成，直到5月底我们完成了整张专辑的预制作。一共花了几个月的时间才完成全部制作，是因为这次我们决定尝试一些新的东西，并按照我们自己的方式制作这张专辑。专辑从写作、编曲、混音到母带制作均是我们独立完成，所以我们必须在很短的时间内学会很多东西。

我们决定这样做是因为我们在寻找一种特定的声音，并通过自己充分利用这些声音，放在这些歌曲里去传达内心真正的想法。

我们之前的EP《Humalina》里面充满着非常愤怒，沉重和黑暗的声音。 这张EP里一切都是完全电子的，我们只用非常了少的真正的乐器。 在《Cryptomaniac》这张专辑里，我们想要改变一点我们的方法，并在制作中更多的使用真实的乐器，像鼓、吉他、贝斯，希望它能够给听众带来更多具有真实感的东西。整张专辑的风格会偏向重型摇滚和独立声音，但仍然拥有我们的电子力量和冲击，这是The Glamour Manifesto的核心。

我们认为这是我们迄今为止最好的专辑，它很好地诠释了我们的一种心境：比以前少了一点点暗黑和愤怒。
