The band first broke up in 1995, then reformed in 2001. Even though Mordred didn't offer any new material during this period, they played shows sporadically until at least 2007. After that, the band either broke up or went on hiatus again. On October 20, 2013, Mordred created their official Facebook page, then a few days later they announced a reunion with the In This Life line-up.
