From the top of the charts to epic pieces that take a side of vinyl, and even both at the same time, Yes are among the
longest running and most successful progressive rock bands of the 70s. The band, founded in 1968, has passed a step
generational in its audience and the abandonment of its most visible members at key points in its history to reach the end
of the century as the definitive progressive rock group.
Where rivals like Emerson, Lake & Palmer became commercially extinct after the mid-1970s, and Genesis and King Crimson have
modified their sounds so radically that they became unrecognizable to their original fans, Yes kept the same
played and played more or less the same repertoire they were doing in 1971 and, due to their ailment, they found themselves caught
seriously a quarter of a century later. Their audience remained huge because they always attracted younger listeners who were drawn to the
