Cliteater was formed in 2002 by Ivan (guitars) and Vedran (bass). Later Joost (vocals) joined the band. An 11-track demo was recorded. The drum computer was replaced by Maurice (drums).

In Nov. 2009 it was announced Vedran will be taking a nearly year long vacation outside of Holland and that Robbie Rockster will be handling live bass duties in his absence.
