The first two albums were released through Lance King's Nightmare Records. Pyramaze left the label after King was fired in late 2006.

Matt Barlow was persuaded to rejoin the metal scene by Michael Kammeyer as a replacement for King. However his decision to rejoin Iced Earth a few months later meant his only contribution to Pyramaze was to record the vocals for "Immortal."
