　　2001年全美销售总冠军/全球一千五百万张销售葛莱美、滚石杂志、Billboard，及三大MTV音乐奖肯定。

　　或许在两年多前，相信没有多少人能预料到这群来自南加州、二十岁左右的年轻人，会成为牵动今日全球乐坛的影响指标。然而事实是，Linkin Park于2000年底发表的以该团原始团名为标题的首张专辑《Hybrid Theory 混合理论》，成功地透过一Vocal(Chester Bennington)与一MC(Mike Shinoda)的双主唱带领，在音乐上呈现出揉合著电气化/Hip Hop肌理的独树一帜Nu-Metal/Mixture-Rock格局，得以获著名重金属杂志Kerrang!选为“20张Nu-Metal体系代表名盘”。更重要的是，《Hybrid Theory混合理论》耐力十足地在2001年全面突围，不仅成为2001年全美销售总冠军专辑缔造无比耀眼的商业成绩(至今更以累积一千五百万张的销售量)，更让乐团赢得葛莱美奖“最佳重摇滚乐团”肯定、获滚石杂志选为“年度最佳风云人物”!

　　同时值得称许的是，一夕成名并未让Linkin Park迷失自我，反之我们见到该团一方面积极地进行巡回演出求求包括发起邀集Adema、Cypress Hill共同演出的Projekt Revolution，另一方面则邀集来自Nu-Metal(Korn、Orgy、Taproot、The Deftones)、Hip Hop(Kutmasta Kurt、Alchemist、X-Ecutioners、Black Thought、Evidence与DJ Babu)、电音(Kelli Ali、Humble Brothers)领域的音乐单位，以“再造”(Re-Creation)的概念，完成了一张令人惊艳的混音专辑《Reanimation颠覆·混合理论》。当然Linkin Park为顶尖唱盘演奏团体X-Ecutioners专辑《Built From Scratch》跨刀合作一曲It's Going Down，也为乐迷所津津乐道。

　　Linkin Park已经堪称是当今所谓饶舌金属乐界，最亮眼突出的明星级乐队。虽然正式出道前这群来自南加州的小伙子曾经多次被唱片公司挽拒，不过在2000年底首张专辑《Hybrid Theory》发表后所掀起的滔天巨浪，包括红翻大江南北的主打单曲如“One Step Closer”与“In The End”及葛来美奖提名最佳摇滚专辑/最佳新进艺人等三项的肯定，都证明当初那些保守势力忽略了他们结合工业舞曲、金属摇滚及饶舌嘻哈的绝对潜力，并奠定了他们位居新世代混种音魔的一线地位。
